Tom Harrison is employed full time as one of the friendliest front of house staff at one of Hobart’s leading restaurants. Due to his time in hospitality Tom has developed a keen interest in wine-making. When he isn’t at work, Tom loves trawling antique stores for paintings and knick-knacks, and has an insatiable passion for dogs, festive jumpers and youth engagement. Tom’s enthusiasm is rivalled only by his organisational pizzazz; alongside being on our Youth Parliament Taskforce he is also the President of UN Youth Tasmania. Despite clearly being one very busy guy, you will always see Tom with a smile on his dial.
Tom’s role on Taskforce for the 2017 Youth Parliament is as our Parliamentary Liaison. This year Tom will be responsible for ensuring all Youth Parliament participants can enjoy debating in the beautiful House of Assembly and have the opportunity to meet many of our esteemed elected representatives and other wonderful VIPs.
